I grew up in a small town, small enough to have only one traffic light! Life in a small town was wonderful. We lived in a house right on Lake Ontario.
After high school, I earned my undergraduate degree at Keuka College in the areas of Elementary and Special Education. From here, I jumped right into my graduate program at SUNY Oswego in Reading Education. My first job was in a small K-4 school, Emily Howland, in the Southern Cayuga School District. I remained here for a decade before coming to the Victor Central School District. I have been here ever since and have taught in a variety of settings and grade levels!
