Center Activities

Here are some more activities I prepared for the workshop I did this past Monday. I hope to link them to Pinterest so more people can have access to them!

  1. I found you because of a pin on Pinterest. I'm your first follower. I just LOVE how you made interactive notebooks for younger kids. I've been dying to do this, but couldn't figure out how. I hope you keep blogging about all of your ideas. They are cute and original :)

  5. I would love if you shared more about the phonics notebook, the parts of a story and spider notebook. I teach first grade and would like to know more about them so I could adapt them to my grade level. Thank you for sharing these great ideas!

  6. I have tried to post twice only to lose it, so I am trying again!

Katie- the spider facts in my notebook were based on an informational text that I read with one of my groups. They put facts under the post-it notes and drew a picture on the post-it note. Mine isn't finished because I was too busy helping them!

The phonics notebook page you see above (diphthongs) was made from index cards cut in half. I am going to try and add the masters for this. A building paraprofessional tried to make masters for me to upload. I will do my best, but the indext cards are sturdier.

I am also giong to try and upload a compound word activity I have done in class.
